Bobby Babbrah has over 25 years of experience leading innovation, growth strategy and transformations for Education Services, Education Technology and SaaS companies ranging from $10M (private) to $8B (public) in annual revenues. In the Education sector, Bobby spent the early part of his career in pre-K12 market, followed by post-secondary education services and later in workforce education and “upskilling.” Currently, Bobby is Managing Partner at Flipp.ED Ventures, which provides advisory, strategy and operating leverage to PE-backed education sector companies. Prior to that, Bobby was Chief Digital Officer at Penn Foster Education, driving employer channel growth and outcomes for 170,000 mid-skilled workers towards increased wage and career mobility. Throughout his career, Bobby has held executive leadership roles with companies such as McGraw Hill Education and Pearson Education (NYSE: PSO) and Archipelago Learning. At McGraw Hill, Bobby was focused on scaled global transformations from print to digital revenue, while reaching over fifty million K-20 learners with curriculum, assessment and adaptive learning platforms. At Archipelago Learning, Bobby created the largest online supplemental and gaming platform reaching thirteen million K-8 students worldwide and ultimately merging the platform with Edmentum Learning in 2013. As President and EVP/COO, respectively at ImageTag and LawLogix, Bobby was responsible for SaaS revenue growth leading up to successful acquisitions. Bobby has held several board and advisory roles (current and past) at Bryant and Stratton College, Picmonic, Cayuse, Esme Learning, and Academic Partnerships.
Bobby’s personal and professional purpose is to create social impact through education and scientific research. He is an active angel investor in Ed-Tech impact funds and in partnership with his wife, manages their family foundation making philanthropic grants for first-generation college students.
