Noveon was a leading global producer of advanced specialty chemicals for a broad range of consumer and industrial applications.

MidOcean worked extensively with its co-investors on all aspects of establishing Noveon as an independent company. After bringing on new management, a specific emphasis was placed on investing in infrastructure to better manage the business, its working capital and capital expenditures. MidOcean worked closely with management to optimize the debt financing to allow for additional flexibility for Noveon’s growth plans. MidOcean sold its interest in Noveon to a strategic investor in 2004.
