Jenny Craig is one of the world’s largest weight management firms. MidOcean, through its Management Affiliates and Executive Board members, was able to bring significant marketing expertise and resources to Jenny Craig. Working with the Jenny Craig management teams, they repositioned the Company’s marketing and product offering by upgrading its centers, program content and food choices. In addition, MidOcean worked with management to expand Jenny Direct and automate reporting systems and processes to enable better management of store sales. EBITDA more than doubled during MidOcean’s ownership. MidOcean sold its interest in Jenny Craig to Nestle in 2006.
