Strayer Education was an educational services company that owned Strayer University, offering a variety of degree programs.

Recognizing that the business was poised for growth, MidOcean Partners helped to recruit a new CEO and a new COO for Strayer to capitalize on the growth opportunities inherent in the business that the former management had not pursued. EBITDA grew significantly during MidOcean’s ownership. MidOcean sold its interest in Strayer in 2004.
