The list highlights the funds whose governance style, engagement, and fit are seen as best enabling their executive partners to achieve success. The winners were selected through a collaboration between PrivateEquityCXO (“PE-CXO”) and Falcon Partners.
The selection process included surveys and interviews of more than 1,000 sponsor-backed executives from July 2022 through December 2022. Participating executives were selected for their credible track record and exposure to more than one sponsor. Key criteria included governance, management’s desire to stay, and value-add support to executives. Fund and investment performance was also an important consideration since the majority of executive compensation is tied to achieving a successful liquidity event.
