Mr. Clempson is the European Managing Partner of MidOcean Partners. Prior to his current position,
Mr. Clempson was European Managing Partner of DB Capital Partners and CEO of Morgan Grenfell Private
Equity (MGPE). Previously Mr. Clempson was Co-Head of European Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank,
with particular responsibility for the Bank's Financial Sponsor Coverage, Leveraged Finance and High
Yield departments. During his career at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust, Mr. Clempson has successfully
developed a number of Investment Banking businesses in Europe. In particular, Mr. Clempson was responsible
for building Bankers Trust's leading market position in the High Yield and Leveraged/Acquisition Finance sectors.
Mr. Clempson has an MA in Law from Oxford University.
